Establish a business presence in Hong Kong
Setting up a virtual number in Hong Kong (+852) allows you to establish a business presence in Asia without having a physical location. Your business associates and clients there can phone you by calling an in-country number. We can help your business grow faster.
Clients in Hong Kong more likely to dial a local number
It’s a simple fact that clients in Hong Kong are more likely to dial an in-country phone number than to make an international call to Tokyo or elsewhere in Japan. Having the Hong Kong virtual number not only gives you the local presence, but it also indicates that you are serious about doing business.
Can the service be used to forward calls from a Hong Kong mobile phone to an international phone number?
It depends. We have many customers worldwide who use our service as a "bridge" to avoid roaming fees. They simply forward calls from their existing mobile number to the virtual phone number that they have purchased from us. In order for this to work, you must ensure that your current Hong Kong mobile provider allows you to forward calls to another number in Hong Kong.
If your current Hong Kong mobile provider (whether SmarTone, CSL Mobile, China Mobile, CMHK or other HK provider) does, in fact, allow you to forward calls to another Hong Kong number, it should work. You would simply forward calls from your current HK number to the virtual number that you purchase from us. When callers dial your existing phone number, calls would then forward to your Hong Kong virtual number - which, in turn, forwards to your destination (or "ring to") number outside Hong Kong. There is NO delay in the call transfer. The fact that the call is being forwarded to another country will be undetected by the person calling your number. We can mask the ringtone.
What does the caller pay?
Your callers will assume whatever charges their local telecom provider assesses for dialing the local virtual number in Hong Kong. If your caller dials the Hong Kong virtual number from outside the country, he/she will incur whatever IDD charges their long distance provider assesses for making an international call to Hong Kong.
If you opt instead to get a Hong Kong ITFS 800 toll free number, your callers will incur no charges. The call is free of charge anywhere in Hong Kong.
