What does the caller pay?
If you get a Canada toll free number, the caller pays nothing since this call is toll free from anywhere in Canada.
If you opt instead for a virtual geographic number that displays a specific Canadian area code, your caller in Canada would be responsible for any charges assessed by their local telecom provider for dialing that local number. If your caller is calling the Canada virtual phone number from outside Canada, he/she will incur whatever IDD charges their long distance provider assesses for making an international call to Canada.
